Regulation of the Japanese Society for Icelandic Studies (summarised)

  • Aims of the Society
    We are supposed to contribute the progress
    and development of the studies on Iceland and the related countries. We shall pursue the aim as mentioned for which we gather meetings of academic character and publish academic books including our own journal.
  • Members
    The Japanese Society for Icelandic Studies consists of members of two kinds: natural or juridical persons. A member shall be registered when s/he subscribes with her/his membership fee: 5,000 yen per year for a natural person and
    30,000 yen per year for a juridical person.
